The countdown to Christmas has begun, and I’m thinking about Christmas presents this week.
It’s always difficult to know what to buy some loved ones, and I’m increasingly drawn towards gifts that are unique, special and personal. Smaller gifts that are more individual, rather than big-brand, impersonal gifts.
I have recently come across Amazon Handmade, a section on the Amazon website I have not discovered before, which sells handmade, personalised craft items, some of which can be made for you.
It offers inspiration on a whole host of gifts to suit all tastes, and I recently received some gifts to see for myself.
First, is a nice hardwood board, engraved with my name. It has metal handles on either end, and would make an excellent cheeseboard, to serve piled with delicious cheeses and fruit over Christmas.
Next, was a personalised wine glass, and I know plenty of friends who’d enjoy this as a gift. It’s a good size – not too big, and nice, thin glass, making it good to drink from.
Finally, in my parcel, were some handmade glass charms, which are popular for small gatherings, with different coloured baubles for each guest to attach to their wine glass stem, so that glasses cannot be muddled up.
There are plenty more gifts to discover on this treasure trove, so you might be able to find a lovely present for your nearest and dearest, while supporting individuals making craft gifts at home.
This is a rare sponsored post, working with Amazon Handmade.
Sponsored posts are something I occasionally consider, to help cover the costs of running this site.
